About us

After working for two of the biggest national timber companies for twenty years, we set up Optimum Timber Supplies, based in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. 18 years on, we have become a trusted family business and are now a leading importer and supplier of quality edge-glued softwood and hardwood panels, worktops, sheet materials and components for furniture manufacturers and shop/kitchen fitters.
Ordering

Here at Optimum Timber we understand that space can be limited in hard working workshops, which is why we have no minimum quantity order per item. We allow you to mix and match as many, or as little of each product, saving you space and money. We have large stocks of all products ready for immediate delivery or collection at our two South Yorkshire warehouses. We use our own transport to deliver to the north of England where our staff would be happy to assist you in unloading your order. We then use trusted local couriers to deliver to the rest of the UK.
